Write a Clear Rental Property Advertisement
Prepare a rental property description that explains confirmed features, uses accurate photographs and gives prospective tenants a clear next step.
Collect the property facts
Start with the address, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking and the features you can verify. Record availability information accurately. Check the requirements that apply in the property’s state or territory before publishing rental information.
Describe the property in plain language
Write about the home and its features rather than the type of person you hope will apply. Explain the main living spaces, outdoor areas and relevant facilities. Avoid unsupported superlatives, promises about suitability or statements you cannot substantiate.
Keep words and photographs consistent
Compare the description with the current photographs and any floorplan. Correct discrepancies before publication. Check spelling, measurements and location claims. Keep a copy of the version you approve so later updates can be made consistently.
Choose the advertising package
Compare residential rental packages for their property portals, advertising period and included services. Check optional extras and applicable terms. The 2% rental option is based on weekly rent and is available in Queensland only.
